During our first trip to Nepal we had the pleasure to contribute with a local non – profit organization called Chhahari Nepal, which put efforts for changing local situation by supporting an orphanage and runing local projects.
Our contribution was made up of two parts:
Shool reabilitation
In 2015 a devastator earthquake hit hardly Nepal. As a consequence the country was severely damaged. The schools among many other buildings were affected, requiring most of them a complete reconstruction. Our work came in the last phase of the school rebuilding, being our job, to paint the facilities. Our duty was to paint the premises.
Social work
The second part of our support was made in the orphanage, where we could dedicate time to the children and pay attention to some aspect such as education and personal care among others with the propose of improve their personal development.
